&lt;p&gt;Ne datat 15 - 20 prill 2016, u mbajt ne Mendoza, Argjentine kampionati i 15-te boteror per Sommelier &quot; World's Best Sommelier 2016&quot;. &lt;br /&gt; Ne kete kompeticion Shqiperia mori pjese si anetare e ASI ( Association de la Sommelierie Internationale) dhe u perfaqesua nga Presidenti i Sommelierise Shqiptare, Z. Dashamir ELEZI dhe konkurrenti shqiptar, kampioni 2015, Z. Fation TILA.&lt;br /&gt; Ne nje eksperience te jashtezakonshme konkurrimi u be ne date 16 Prill, me 60 pjesemarres nga vende te ndryshme te botes, ku Shqiperia u perfaqesua denjesisht ne nje konkurrs jo vetem emocionues por edhe te nje shkalle te larte veshtiresie.&lt;br /&gt; Ne date 17 prill u shpallen 15 gjysemfinalistet, ku Shqiperia kesaj here nuk mundi te behet pjese. &lt;br /&gt; Pas konkurrimit te tyre ne date 19 prill u shpallen 3 finalistet ne hollin historik te &quot;Teatro de la Indepedenca de Mendoza&quot;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Juria drejtohej nga Gérard Basset (Best Sommelier of the World 2010) me pjesemarrjen edhe te : Serge Dubs (Best Sommelier of the World 1989), Shinya Tasaki (1995), Markus del Monego (1998), Andreas Larsson (2007) and Paolo Basso (2013), te cilet formuluan testet e konkurrsit.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Presidenti i Sommelierise Shqiptare Z. Dashamir ELEZI ishte njekohesisht pjese e Jurise gjykuese ne perzgjedhjen e finalisteve.&lt;/p&gt;
